This year, a hostessing trifecta that included previous winners—actress Cynthia Erivo, lighting designer Natasha Katz, and singer-songwriter Cyndi Lauper—oversaw the momentous occasion that celebrated the best of Broadway. The intimate gathering was split into two parts: cocktails then lunch, which seemed fitting given that several productions (namely, Angels in America and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) are delivered in the same multitiered fashion. The festivities began over assorted canapés and bellinis, perfect for raising a congratulatory toast.
